Based in Fareham with a need for travel, this position is essential for driving cost efficiencies and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier relationships and contribute to the overall success of our purchasing and procurement initiatives.As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you’ll:Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimise procurement processes.Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and savings achieved to senior management.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent a related field.A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in a mid-senior role.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with procurement software and tools.We’re a team of innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers who believe that great ideas can come from anyone.
