Position: Strategic Sourcing SpecialistCompensation: AED 17,000 to 20,000 plus company benefitsLocation: Dubai, UAEOverviewGateworth is supporting an international logistics and supply chain organisation in their search to onboard a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join the Dubai team.This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to broaden their exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement within a global, fast-moving business.Main Responsibilities·Support global sourcing projects and strategic purchasing initiatives across international markets.·Lead RFQ/RFP processes, evaluating supplier proposals based on cost, quality and delivery performance.·Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and framework agreements.·Drive supplier performance reviews, addressing delivery, quality, and service-related issues through corrective action plans.·Prepare spend analysis, sourcing reports, and procurement dashboards to support management decision-making.·Identify and mitigate procurement risks by developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.·Ensure contract compliance and maintenance of accurate procurement documentation throughout the sourcing lifecycle.·Manage procurement activities across multiple categories, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and service levels.·Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.·Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to maintain a reliable supply base.·Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and category management plans.·Analyze spending data and procurement KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.·Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align purchasing decisions with operational requirements.·Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and supplier management practices.Qualifications·3-4 years' experience in an independent sourcing, or procurement planning role, within an international organisation.·Exposure to commercial catering, facilities management, or related service categories would be advantageous.·Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.·Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functionality.·Excellent client relationship building skills and ability to engage with stakeholders internally and externally.·A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures.ApplyApplicants meeting this criterion and looking for a progressive and challenging opportunity should submit an application via, apply@gateworth.com quoting the GWG reference: 19700
