Youll work directly with the COO and tackle whatever matters most that week.Massive market — starting with tens of thousands of CPG brands, with the opportunity to expand across small businesses and multiple verticals.Perfect transition from high-intensity finance/consulting — trade structure and process for autonomy, ownership, and direct impact.The RoleAs Strategy Operations Lead, youll work directly under the COO as a true generalist operator across the business.Youll:Own day-to-day operational execution alongside the COOSpeak directly with CPG founders and partners, including phone-based customer supportCoordinate across a small, highly horizontal team where priorities shift constantlyStep into CSM and account management work when neededAutomate workflows and build processes across the businessSupport the development and delivery of structured credit productsTake on consulting-style projects — structure ambiguous problems, develop recommendations, and drive them through to executionThis is not a traditional Strategy Ops role. Its for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, figure things out, and own the outcome.What Were Looking For1–5 years in investment banking, private credit, PE, MBB/management consulting, VC, growth equity, or another high-intensity analytical environmentDemonstrated high agency — someone who naturally picks up whatever needs doingComfortable being customer-facing and speaking directly with founders and partnersStrong communicator who can navigate a small, horizontal teamComfortable operating without a predefined playbook or fixed remitStrong familiarity with modern AI and coding toolsAble to work in person in NYC, 5 days/weekNice to HaveLending, credit, or FinTech experienceExposure to underwriting or continuous monitoring“Move fast.
