This role involves setting long-term vision and goals, guiding market positioning, and ensuring alignment with Airtel Africa Group’s broader strategy. The Owner will oversee key functional areas such as finance, commercial strategy, customer experience, technology, and regulatory relations, while driving innovation and competitive differentiation in the Nigerian market. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing performance metrics, making high-impact investment decisions, mentoring senior leadership, and fostering a culture of accountability and ethical business practices. The role also requires building strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and community leaders, to support sustainable growth and brand trust.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and executive management skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder management.Strong background in telecommunications, technology, or related industries, with a deep understanding of mobile networks, digital services, and market dynamics in Nigeria or similar markets.Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, and financial oversight, including budgeting, investment evaluation, and revenue optimization.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.Track record in governance and compliance, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks, risk management, and ethical business standards.Ability to drive innovation and transformation, supporting new products, services, and customer experience initiatives.Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Business, Finance, or related field) or equivalent executive-level experience.Commitment to inclusive leadership, community impact, and fostering a diverse, non-discriminatory work environment.
