Strategy Consultant

Project OverviewOur client, a global consulting firm, is seeking experienced Independent Consultants / Project Managers to provide additional project delivery capacity across Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.On-site presence is required for respective locations, and the duration is approximately 3-months.The requirement is focused on consultants with approximately 2–5 years of consulting experience, ideally from MBB, ATK, RB, LEK, OCC or equivalent strategy consulting firms, as well as Project Manager-level professionals from the Big Four.Strong generalist consulting profiles with a proven strategic problem-solving and analytical toolkit will also be considered, with relevant industry experience viewed as an added advantage.Key Requirements2–5 years of consulting experience within leading strategy or management consulting firms, or Project Manager experience within Big Four consultingStrong background in strategic problem-solving, structured thinking and quantitative analysisAbility to independently conduct industry and market research, interview experts and engage with clientsStrong PowerPoint / presentation development skillsAbility to independently plan and deliver workstreams or modules with limited supervisionFamiliarity with analytical and AI-enabled tools such as Excel, SQL and PythonExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environmentWillingness to travel as requiredPreferred Industry ExperienceIndustry experience is preferred but not mandatory, with strong generalist consultants also considered.Hong Kong: Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Financial Services and Digitalisation. Cantonese-speaking consultants are preferred but not mandatory.Singapore: Banking and Insurance, with broader Financial Services experience also relevant.Kuala Lumpur: Primarily Energy / ENR, with a particular focus on Oil & Gas experience.Engagement DetailsThe client is looking to proactively build a pre-screened talent pool ahead of anticipated project demand, enabling consultants to be mobilised quickly once specific requirements are confirmed.Locations: Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala LumpurExpected start dates: 28 September / 5 October 2026 onwardsExpected engagement period: Through to end-January 2027Initial forecast: Approximately 10 consultants required across October, with additional demand expected depending on project requirementsLevel: Senior Account / Associate
