Working closely with senior leadership, Finance, commercial and sales, the Strategy Manager brings market intelligence, investment analysis, and location strategy together into clear recommendations. Key responsibilities include:Corporate Investment StrategyShape the organization's corporate investment strategy and long-term growth agenda, including scenario planning to support executive decisions.Assess investment opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic business initiativesBuild and maintain detailed financial models including DCF, peer comparison, and project economics analyses along with business cases and return-on-investment analyses to support investment decisionsEvaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, or divestmentStrategic Planning & Business GrowthLead strategic planning activities and support the development of business strategiesConduct scenario planning and strategic assessments to support executive decision-makingDevelop strategies that enhance operational efficiency, and long-term competitivenessMarket Intelligence & Competitive AnalysisConduct market, industry, and competitive analyses to inform investment and business decisionsMonitor and deliver reports on economic conditions, regulatory developments, and industry trends impacting investment strategiesMaintain intelligence on emerging markets, industry disruptions, and competitor activitiesGeographic Expansion StrategyAsses potential expansion markets based on business demand, investment potential, operational feasibility, and talent availabilityDevelop location strategies for new offices, hubs, and corporate investmentsPartner with business leaders to identify and prioritize geographic growth opportunitiesTransaction Execution & Due DiligenceSupport execution of acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other strategic transactionsCoordinate financial, commercial, and operational due diligence with internal teams and external advisorsPrepare investment committee papers, board presentations, and negotiation support materialsWho are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategy, or a related fieldMBA, CFA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferredWith 5-7+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy and Investments, Investment Banking, Business Transformation, Financial Due Diligence or Investment Management
