Street Light Works Supervisor

The Electrician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities at project sites. The role ensures that electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, company standards, and relevant regulations. The Electrician Supervisor leads electrical teams, monitors progress, and ensures the timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, lead, and coordinate electricians and electrical technicians on-siteAssign daily tasks and monitor workforce productivityProvide technical guidance and on-the-job training to team membersEvaluate employee performance and ensure adherence to company proceduresOversee electrical installation works, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, cable laying, control panels, and electrical equipmentEnsure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out efficientlyVerify that installations comply with project drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical standardsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtimeEnsure all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company HSE policiesConduct regular inspections of completed work to verify quality and complianceIdentify potential hazards and implement corrective actionsEnsure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project executionMonitor project schedules and report progress regularlyEnsure the availability of materials, tools, and manpower required for the workAssist in planning work activities and resource allocationMaintain daily work reports, inspection records, and site documentationTrack material consumption and submit material requests when requiredReport project progress, delays, and technical issues to managementAssist in preparing completion reports and project handover documentationRequirementsDiploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, distribution panels, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations Valid driving license is an advantage
