Manual Test Engineer – AutomotiveAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our automotive software testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating automotive software solutions through structured testing activities, defect analysis, and collaboration with development and vehicle integration teams. The position involves hands-on work with test vehicles and test benches to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of automotive systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform software updates on test vehicles and test benches.Execute test plans, test suites, and testing activities based on project priorities.Participate in daily and evening testing iterations on automotive test environments.Conduct static and dynamic vehicle testing, including occasional weekend test drives when required.Record diagnostic traces and identify accurate time markers for defect analysis.Analyze, convert, and prepare logs for troubleshooting and defect reporting.Create and maintain detailed defect reports in internal and customer defect management systems.Produce test reports and test summary reports following testing activities.Design, create, and maintain test cases, test suites, and test plans.Validate development builds and provide timely feedback to engineering teams.Support project stakeholders by providing prompt updates on testing progress and issue status.Collaborate closely with vehicle manufacturers, infotainment (IVI) teams, developers, and project leadership.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.Proven experience creating test cases, test reports, and defect reports.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and investigative skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with automotive systems, infotainment platforms, or vehicle integration projects.Familiarity with automotive testing tools and log analysis techniques.Flexibility to work shifted schedules, with working hours starting after 14:00.Ability to support occasional weekend testing activities.Skills & CompetenciesManual TestingTest Case Design and ExecutionDefect ManagementRoot Cause AnalysisLog and Trace AnalysisQuality Assurance ProcessesAutomotive Software ValidationReporting and DocumentationTeam Collaboration and CommunicationWhy Join Us?Work on cutting-edge automotive technologies used by millions of drivers worldwide.Collaborate with global engineering and vehicle development teams.Gain hands-on experience with innovative automotive software platforms.Grow your career in a technology-focused environment that values professional development and continuous learning.
