Structural Design Engineer – Dubai & Abu Dhabi

KEN International is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our technical team, supporting projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.The role requires strong structural design capability, proven UAE project experience, and a solid understanding of local authority requirements and international structural design standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures.Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings and technical submissions.Review structural design deliverables for compliance with applicable codes, standards and authority requirements.Coordinate structural design with Architecture, MEP, geotechnical and other disciplines.Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings and resolution of design issues.Review contractor technical submissions and structural proposals where required.Support authority submissions and respond to technical comments.Ensure designs are technically sound, coordinated, buildable and compliant with project requirements.Mandatory RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.7–10 years of proven structural design experience.Proven UAE experience in structural engineering consultancy or design.Valid Dubai Municipality engineering registration / licence.Valid UAE Society of Engineers membership / SOE Card.UAE Ministry of Education Certificate of Recognition / Degree Equivalency Certificate.Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements and UAE authority procedures.Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or equivalent.Good knowledge of relevant international structural codes and standards.Strong coordination and technical communication skills.Professional English communication skills.Preferred ExperienceHigh-rise residential, hospitality, luxury residential or other complex building projects.Previous experience working with a recognised engineering consultancy in the UAE.Experience with structural design coordination from concept through detailed design and construction stages.LocationDubai / Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesFull-time, on-site position.ImportantApplicants should clearly indicate their Dubai Municipality registration status, UAE Society of Engineers membership and UAE Ministry of Education Certificate of Recognition / Equivalency in their applicationHow to ApplyApply directly through LinkedIn.
