Structural Draftsman

• Prepare structural drawings, general arrangement drawings, and reinforcement detailing(RC, steel, and composite elements) under the guidance of the Structural Engineer.
• Develop foundation layout, framing, and detail drawings for shallow foundations, piled/raftfoundations, and retaining structures based on the engineer's design instructions.
• Translate structural analysis and calculation outputs into clear, dimensioned workingdrawings and detail sheets.
• Prepare and update drawings for Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and other UAEauthority submissions, incorporating review comments and revisions.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural and MEP layouts to identify and resolve clashesprior to issue.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and title block/documentation standards in linewith office and project requirements.
• Assist in producing quantity take-off drawings and supporting sketches for reports andtechnical submissions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes and applicable internationalstandards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) as directed by the Structural Engineer.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a structural draftsman or in a similar drafting role.UAE experience is preferrable.
• Strong working proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Structure.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete and steel detailing conventions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines under engineeringsupervision.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers, architects, and MEP teams.
