Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the role involves preparing structural drawings and calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting fabrication and site activities to ensure structural integrity, compliance, and successful project execution.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the structural design and analysis of modular buildings, steel structures, skids, platforms, and lifting systems.Prepare and update structural drawings, general arrangement (GA) plans, fabrication details, and connection layouts.Perform basic structural calculations, including load assessments, member sizing, lifting point verification, and anchorage checks in accordance with applicable codes and project standards.Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines to ensure structural compatibility and clash-free integration.Support fabrication and construction teams by addressing technical queries and providing engineering clarifications.Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.Participate in inspections, quality control activities, and site visits as required.Assist in the preparation of engineering documentation, reports, and design deliverables.Ensure structural designs and deliverables comply with safety, quality, and project requirements.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design and engineering, preferably within modular construction, steel structures, industrial facilities, or building projects.Familiarity with structural analysis and design of steel frames, platforms, skids, and support structures.Experience in preparing and reviewing structural drawings, GA drawings, fabrication details, and connection layouts.Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards for structural engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with structural design software.Ability to perform basic structural calculations, including load assessments, member sizing, lifting point checks, and anchorage design.Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Knowledge of fabrication, construction practices, and quality control requirements is preferred.
