Location: Dubai Job Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: 10+ Years Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Structural Engineer to lead and oversee the structural design and execution of complex construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions, ensuring compliance with all regulations while maintaining project timelines and budgets. This role involves leadership responsibilities, mentorship of junior engineers, and close collaboration with stakeholders across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design Leadership: Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all structural aspects of projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in execution.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction processes comply with local, national, and international building codes and standards.Client and Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.Risk Management: Identify potential risks in design or construction and implement solutions to mitigate them effectively.Site Inspections: Conduct detailed site inspections and provide expert guidance to address on-site challenges or deviations from the design.Innovation and Sustainability: Advocate for the use of advanced materials, sustainable practices, and innovative technologies in structural design and construction.Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.Documentation: Prepare, review, and approve detailed engineering reports, calculations, and project documentation.Qualifications and Skills:Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred.Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in structural design and construction, with demonstrated leadership in large-scale projects.Technical Expertise:Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.In-depth understanding of advanced construction materials, techniques, and seismic design principles.Leadership Skills:Strong project management abilities, with a focus on delivering results within timelines and budgets.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and team leadership.Knowledge Base: Familiarity with green building practices, sustainability certifications (LEED, GRIHA, etc.), and modern structural innovations.Certifications:Must be certified by Dubai Municipality or Ras al Khaimah MunicipalityShould be registered in society of Engineers.How to Apply:Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their updated Resume on Jobs@theluxedevelopers.ae.
