In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the execution of steel structural systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality structural solutions that meet international standards and local regulatory requirements.Design and analyze steel structures using advanced CAD and structural analysis software, ensuring compliance with international building codes and UAE construction standardsPrepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for steel fabrication and constructionConduct site inspections and supervise steel structure installation to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specificationsPerform structural assessments and provide technical recommendations for modifications or improvementsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and contractors to optimize design solutionsReview and approve shop drawings and fabrication plans submitted by steel contractorsMaintain organized project documentation and ensure all structural designs are properly archived and accessibleIdentify and resolve structural challenges through analytical problem-solving and innovative engineering solutionsEnsure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulationsParticipate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to support project timelines and budgetsQualificationsProficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or equivalentAdvanced skills in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Tekla StructuresStrong knowledge of steel design codes including IBC, Eurocode, and local UAE building regulationsMinimum 5 years of professional experience in steel structure design and project executionDemonstrated expertise in BIM modeling and coordinationSolid understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction methodologiesExperience with quality control and site supervision of steel structural projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesProficiency in technical report writing and documentationProfessional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional certification (preferred)Familiarity with UAE construction standards and local project requirements (preferred)Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy
