We value technical excellence, safety, integrity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Lead / Building Inspection Manager to provide technical leadership across structural assessments, building inspections, engineering reviews, and asset-condition evaluations. The ideal candidate combines strong structural engineering knowledge with practical inspection experience, analytical judgment, and effective stakeholder management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering reviews, building inspections, condition assessments, and technical investigations.Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and engineering documentation.Assess buildings, structures, and components for structural integrity, defects, deterioration, and potential risks.Develop inspection scopes, methodologies, schedules, deliverables, and resource requirements.Coordinate engineers, inspectors, consultants, contractors, and other technical stakeholders.Identify structural defects, construction deficiencies, material deterioration, and maintenance concerns.Analyze inspection findings and recommend appropriate repair, strengthening, maintenance, or monitoring measures.Review structural designs and technical proposals for compliance with project requirements.Support structural analysis, load assessments, failure investigations, and engineering evaluations where required.Monitor inspection quality and ensure technical reports are accurate, complete, and properly documented.Establish inspection procedures, checklists, reporting standards, and quality-control processes.Assess project risks and provide practical recommendations to reduce structural and operational exposure.Coordinate with architects, project managers, facilities teams, contractors, and clients.Track inspection findings, corrective actions, remediation progress, and outstanding technical issues.Prepare technical reports, management summaries, condition assessments, and engineering recommendations.Support continuous improvement of inspection methodologies, engineering practices, and asset-management processes.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, building inspection, structural assessment, construction, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of structural systems, building construction, materials, defects, and condition assessment.Experience reviewing structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.Familiarity with structural inspection methods, defect identification, and engineering assessment practices.Strong analytical, technical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to interpret engineering plans, technical standards, inspection findings, and project requirements.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, or inspection personnel.Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.Proficiency with engineering, inspection, reporting, spreadsheet, and digital collaboration tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and professional standards.Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities within a remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.What We OfferFlexible part-time work with a fully remote arrangement.Opportunity to contribute to structural engineering, building inspection, and infrastructure initiatives.Exposure to diverse building types, engineering challenges, and asset-condition projects.Access to modern engineering, inspection, reporting, and collaboration technologies.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Professional growth through technical leadership, engineering assessment, and project oversight.A collaborative international environment focused on safety, technical excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.
