We value technical excellence, safety, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Lead / Building Inspection Manager to oversee structural assessments, building inspections, technical reviews, and engineering recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong structural engineering knowledge with practical inspection experience and the ability to coordinate technical teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering assessments, building inspections, and technical review activities.Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documentation.Plan and coordinate building condition assessments, inspections, surveys, and site investigations.Identify structural defects, deterioration, damage, safety concerns, and potential performance risks.Analyze inspection findings and develop practical engineering recommendations.Coordinate structural engineers, inspectors, consultants, contractors, and other technical specialists.Review existing structures and assess their condition, integrity, and suitability for continued use.Support structural repair, strengthening, rehabilitation, and maintenance recommendations.Prepare and review technical inspection reports, assessment findings, and engineering documentation.Monitor inspection schedules, project milestones, deliverables, and technical quality.Ensure engineering activities align with applicable building codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.Review contractor proposals, repair methodologies, technical submissions, and corrective actions.Support risk assessments and prioritize structural issues based on severity and potential impact.Maintain accurate inspection records, photographs, technical documentation, and project databases.Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to management and non-technical stakeholders.Identify opportunities to improve inspection procedures, engineering quality, documentation, and asset-management practices.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, building inspection, construction, structural assessment, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of structural systems, construction methods, building defects, and condition assessment.Experience reviewing structural drawings, calculations, technical reports, and inspection documentation.Knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering standards, safety requirements, and inspection practices.Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Experience coordinating engineers, inspectors, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.Familiarity with engineering software, inspection tools, reporting systems, spreadsheets, and digital collaboration platforms.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and professional standards.Ability to manage multiple inspections, technical assignments, and deadlines independently.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.What We OfferFlexible part-time work with a fully remote arrangement.Opportunity to contribute to international structural engineering and building assessment projects.Exposure to diverse building types, construction environments, and technical challenges.Access to modern engineering, inspection, reporting, and collaboration technologies.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Professional growth through technical leadership, structural assessment, and inspection management.Collaborative international environment focused on safety, engineering excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.
