The organization is committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective steel solutions that comply with the highest industry standards.The role We are looking for a steel structures engineer who can do real design work and also understands what it takes to build the design in a workshop. This is a fabrication-side role, not a design-office or site-supervision role for concrete structures.ResponsibilitiesDesignDesign steel members, connections, base plates, and secondary steelworkBuild and run analysis models and check results against project codesPrepare design calculations and technical submissions for clients and consultantsRespond to client comments and clarifications on design and drawingsFabrication and project supportReview and approve shop drawings and erection drawings, and coordinate with detailersPrepare weight takeoffs and material listsSupport estimating and tender pricing for new RFQsSupport QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, material traceability, and inspection recordsWork with the workshop team on fabrication tolerances and technical queriesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering3+ years of hands-on experience in structural steel design and/or fabrication (PEB, heavy steel structures, industrial steelwork)Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS for steel structuresProficiency in Tekla Structures or equivalent detailing softwareProficiency in IdeaStatica and designing connectionsSolid knowledge of AISC, Eurocode 3, or SBC 306 steel provisionsStrong knowledge of steel connection design and welding and bolting requirementsGood written English for technical submissionsExperience with estimating or tender preparation in a fabrication companyKnowledge of AWS D1.1, ISO 3834, or ISO 9001 QA/QC requirementsPlease note: candidates whose experience is in RCC or concrete design only will not be considered.What we offerHands-on exposure to the full project cycle, from estimating through design to fabricationA small, direct team where your work is visible and valued
