Student Affairs Specialist Russian speaker

Role Description The Student Affairs Specialist (Russian speaker) is a full-time, on-site role based at Plekhanov University’s Dubai campus in the United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for supporting students throughout their academic journey, including onboarding, advising, and ongoing engagement. Day-to-day tasks include providing guidance on academic policies and campus resources, coordinating student services, and handling student inquiries in both Russian and English. The specialist will plan and execute student events and activities, collaborate with faculty and administrative departments to support student success, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the overall student experience. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate student records, and participating in orientation, training sessions, and outreach programs for current and prospective students.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including fluency in Russian and English, active listening, and clear, professional written and verbal interaction.Candidates should possess Education and Student Affairs skills, such as understanding of academic processes, student support services, and familiarity with university policies and procedures.Candidates should possess Event Planning skills, including organizing student activities, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality campus events.Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to deliver orientations, workshops, and informational sessions to diverse student groups.Candidates should ideally have prior experience in higher education, counseling, or student services, with strong organizational and time management abilities.A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field is preferred; experience in international or multicultural environments is an advantage.Proficiency with office productivity tools and student information systems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, is beneficial.
