Student Affairs Specialist-Russian Speaker

Role Description The Student Affairs Specialist – Russian Speaker is a full-time, on-site role based at Plekhanov University’s Dubai campus. The specialist supports students throughout their academic journey by providing guidance on university policies, academic procedures, and campus resources, with a focus on Russian-speaking students. Daily responsibilities include responding to student inquiries, coordinating orientation and co-curricular activities, and assisting with the resolution of student issues in collaboration with academic and administrative departments. The role involves planning and implementing student events, workshops, and training sessions that promote engagement, well-being, and academic success. The specialist maintains accurate student records, prepares reports, and contributes to continuous improvement of student affairs processes and services.Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including fluent Russian and English, with the ability to interact effectively and respectfully with diverse student populations.Background or experience in Education and Student Affairs, ideally within a university or higher education environment.Demonstrated Event Planning skills for organizing student programs, orientations, and campus activities.Experience in Training, including developing and delivering workshops or information sessions for students.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.Proficiency in MS Office and basic student information or CRM systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.Strong problem-solving skills, a student-centered mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional
