TEVS offers a structured, supportive environment for students and team members, with a strong emphasis on professional service and ethical advice.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Consultant role based in Colombo. The Student Consultant will advise prospective students on suitable study-abroad options, including programs, institutions, destinations, and admission pathways. Daily tasks include meeting with students and families, gathering academic and personal background information, and explaining application and visa procedures. The role involves preparing and reviewing application documents, coordinating with international education partners, and maintaining accurate records of consultations and student progress. The Student Consultant will also support outreach activities, such as information sessions and follow-up communication, to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for each student.Qualifications Strong advisory and counseling skills, with the ability to understand student needs and provide clear, practical guidance on study-abroad options.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident spoken and written English and the ability to engage with students, families, and partner institutions.Organizational and administrative skills, such as handling documentation, managing timelines, and maintaining accurate records of applications and consultations.Customer service and relationship-building skills to deliver friendly, respectful, and professional support to diverse student backgrounds.Basic understanding of international education systems and student visa processes; prior experience in education consulting, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Colombo, collaborate with a team, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail.Proficiency in standard office software and online communication tools; familiarity with CRM or student management systems is beneficial.Relevant educational background in counseling, education, management, or a related discipline is preferred.
