Student Counsellor

La Trobe University Colombo Campus is looking for a motivated and student-focused Student Counsellor to join our team on a full-time basis.If you enjoy working with students, building relationships and guiding them through important education decisions, this could be the right opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities• Counsel prospective students and parents on available study programs and pathways• Respond to student enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email and walk-ins• Guide students throughout the application and enrolment process• Follow up with prospective students and manage the student pipeline• Maintain accurate student records and update lead progress• Support student recruitment campaigns, events and campus activities• Work towards individual and team enrolment targetsWhat We’re Looking For• Previous experience in student counselling, admissions, sales or customer service will be an advantage• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Excellent follow-up and organisational skills• Confident in communicating with students and parents• Positive, energetic and results-driven attitude• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamIf you’re passionate about higher education and helping students take the next step in their academic journey, we’d love to hear from you.
