EEVS offers end-to-end services, including personalized counselling, guidance in selecting suitable institutions, and comprehensive support with visa applications. The team also assists students upon arrival in Australia, helping them adjust to academic life and settle into the local culture. Applicants joining the Sri Lanka office will be part of a globally connected network focused on student success.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counsellor role based in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. The Student Counsellor will provide one-on-one and group counselling to students, helping them identify suitable study destinations, courses, and institutions aligned with their academic background and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining application and visa processes, preparing documentation, and coordinating with international education partners and internal teams. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up on applications and visa outcomes, and providing pre-departure and post-arrival guidance, especially for students going to Australia. The Student Counsellor will also support outreach activities, participate in education fairs or information sessions, and uphold high standards of ethical and compliant advising.Qualifications Strong student counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to assess individual needs and recommend appropriate study pathways.Knowledge of international education systems and admission processes, particularly for Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Dubai.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust with students and families and present information clearly.Organizational and administrative abilities to manage multiple applications, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.Customer service and relationship-building skills to deliver a positive experience and maintain long-term engagement with clients.Proficiency in basic computer applications and online communication tools; familiarity with CRM or student management systems is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Counseling, Management, or a related discipline; prior experience in student counselling or education consultancy is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, collaborate with a diverse team, and adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines in education and migration services.
