Apply & track with Apply EdgeStudent Counsellor (Education Sales)Location: Colombo | Full-time | On-siteThe Colombo Institute of Sales and Distribution (CISD) is recruiting a Student Counsellor (Education Sales) on behalf of a client in the higher education sector.We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual who can help prospective students make informed education decisions while driving student enrolments. The successful candidate will join our client’s team and guide students and parents from their initial enquiry through to registration.In this role, you will:Advise prospective students and parents on programmes, entry requirements, fees and academic progression opportunities.Handle enquiries through telephone, WhatsApp, email, social media and in-person consultations.Understand each student’s interests, qualifications and career goals to recommend suitable study options.Follow up with prospective students consistently and convert enquiries into applications and registrations.Achieve agreed enrolment and sales targets while maintaining a high standard of student service.Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups and applications using the organisation’s CRM system.Support recruitment campaigns, open days, school visits and education exhibitions.Coordinate with admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrolment experience.We are looking for someone with:Experience in student counselling, education sales, admissions, telesales or a similar customer-facing sales role.Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills.The confidence to explain programme options clearly, address concerns and build trust with students and parents.A proactive approach to follow-ups, strong organisational skills and the ability to work towards targets.Confidence using digital communication tools, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related discipline would be an advantage.Success in this role means meeting enrolment targets while helping students choose programmes that suit their needs and ambitions.To apply, submit your updated CV through LinkedIn.
