The team is committed to helping students make informed decisions and access high-quality global education opportunities smoothly.Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo. This role involves guiding students through academic and career options, assessing their interests and qualifications, and recommending suitable overseas education pathways. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with applications and documentation, and coordinating with partner institutions. The Student Counselor will respond to student and family inquiries, maintain accurate records, and provide regular follow-ups to ensure a smooth placement process. The role also includes collaborating with the team on outreach activities, information sessions, and maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.QualificationsStrong Student Counseling skills, with the ability to support learners in academic and personal decision-making.Experience or training in Student Counseling to help students align study choices with long-term goals.Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to explain complex information simply.Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and building trust with students and families.Solid understanding of Education systems and admission processes for major international study destinations.Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Business, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.Previous experience in student advisory, education consultancy, or related fields is preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.Comfort with using office software and online communication tools to manage applications and student interactions.Commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices and maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.RequirementsPrevious experience in Sales or Student Counseling is an added advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsTarget-driven and financially motivatedConfident, proactive and results-orientedAbility to build relationships and influence decisionsFreshers are welcome to apply and learnWhat we offer?Industry-standard basic salaryUncapped commission structureCareer growth and development opportunitiesA dynamic and supportive working environmentOpportunity to build a career within the international education sector📍 Location: Colombo 04 ⏱️ Immediate joiners preferredInterested?
