The company aims to make global education more accessible and informed for aspiring students.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Colombo. The Student Counselor will meet with prospective students and families to understand academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals, and provide guidance on suitable study abroad programs and destinations. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with applications and documentation, coordinating with partner institutions, and following up with students throughout the process. The role involves responding to inquiries, delivering information sessions, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth counseling experience. The Student Counselor is also expected to support outreach activities, participate in events, and uphold professional, student-focused service standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on academic and professional pathways.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems and study abroad processes to provide accurate and reliable guidance.Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field are highly beneficial.Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in international education consulting, proficiency in multiple languages, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse student populations in a respectful and inclusive manner.
