The Student Counselor will guide students through overseas education options, including program selection, university choices, entry requirements, and application timelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, answering inquiries, supporting students and families with documentation, and coordinating with partner institutions when needed. The role involves maintaining accurate records of student interactions, following up on applications, and ensuring timely communication at each stage of the process. The Student Counselor will also participate in information sessions, events, and outreach activities to promote available study abroad opportunities and strengthen relationships with students and stakeholders.Qualifications Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to advise students on suitable academic and career pathways.Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to explain complex information simply.Customer Service skills to provide supportive, responsive assistance to students and families throughout the counseling process.Background or strong interest in Education, international study programs, and admission processes.Relevant diploma or degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field.Ability to work on-site in Colombo, manage multiple student cases, and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency with basic computer applications, online research, and documentation tools.Previous experience in student advising, admissions, or educational consultancy is an advantage.
