This approach creates a supportive environment for students planning to study abroad.Role Description The Student Counselor_ Europe will provide personalized counseling to students interested in higher education opportunities across European universities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, evaluating academic backgrounds, advising on suitable programs and institutions, and guiding students through application and documentation requirements. The role also involves responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate records of student interactions, collaborating with colleagues to improve counseling processes, and ensuring clear, timely communication with students and families. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Step4progress Bangladesh in Badda Thana, requiring presence during office hours and active participation in student outreach and information sessions.QualificationsMinimum 1-2 years of relevant experienceAbility to provide effective Student Counseling and Career Counseling tailored to diverse academic and career goals.Strong Communication skills for conducting counseling sessions, presentations, and follow-up with students and guardians.Customer Service skills to deliver responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused support to prospective students.Understanding of Education systems, particularly European higher education pathways, admission processes, and program structures.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Prior experience in academic advising, study abroad counseling, or similar student-facing roles preferred.Ability to work on-site in Badda Thana, manage multiple student cases, and maintain organized records.Proficiency with office software and online communication tools; familiarity with CRM or student management systems is beneficial.
