Location Dubai, UAE Department Student Recruitment & Business Development Executive Reports to Operations Director/Managing Director Job Purpose The Business Development Executive will be the primary driver of student recruitment into the professional pathway programs offered by the company, building and sustaining a strong pipeline of school leavers & graduates through direct engagement with schools, career counsellors, and prospective students and their parents. Alongside this core focus, the role will build relationships with corporates to generate client work, including training partnerships and in-house programs. The role combines proactive market-facing business development with structured proposal preparation and event-led marketing initiatives designed to build sustained interest in the program. Key Responsibilities School & Student Recruitment •Build and manage a network of relationships with schools, school counsellors, and career advisors across Dubai and the wider UAE to promote professional pathways in finance and accounting. •Conduct regular school visits, presentations, and information sessions to engage students, parents, and counsellors. •Own and grow the enquiry-to-enrolment pipeline for school leavers, tracking conversion at each stage and following up proactively. •Represent the institution at school career fairs, education exhibitions, and parent information evenings. University & Corporate Engagement •Identify and approach universities and corporates for potential partnerships, sponsored training, and collaborative client work. •Build and maintain a network of contacts within target universities and corporate HR/L&D functions. •Support the development of new business relationships that extend beyond direct student recruitment, including B2B and institutional engagements. Proposal Development & Client Servicing •Prepare tailored proposals, pitch decks, and commercial documentation for prospective institutional and corporate clients. •Coordinate with operations teams and management to ensure proposals are accurate, deliverable, and competitively positioned. •Manage the follow-up process on submitted proposals through to closure, keeping accurate records of client interactions. Marketing Initiatives & Events •Jointly conceptualize and execute initiatives that build sustained interest in the program among the school-leaver market, such as summer camps, taster sessions, open days, and campus visit programs. •Provide inputs to marketing executive to develop collateral, digital content, and campaigns targeted at relevant markets/customers. •Plan and deliver on-campus and off-campus events aimed at prospective students and their influencers (parents, counsellors, teachers Relationship Management & Networking •Maintain regular, structured engagement with counsellors as a key influencer group, including periodic counsellor briefings and updates. •Build long-term, trust-based relationships with partner institutions to secure repeat access. •Represent the institution professionally in external-facing engagements. Reporting & Administration •Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline activity, and outreach in the CRM/tracking system. •Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and counsellor/school feedback to inform strategy. Person Specification Education •Essential: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. •Desirable: Background in education marketing activities; familiarity with professional qualification journeys (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or similar) is a plus. Experience •Essential: 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, education counselling, or student recruitment, ideally within the education sector. •Desirable: Prior experience engaging with schools, career counsellors, or corporate L&D functions; experience preparing client-facing proposals. Skills & Competencies •Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with school counsellors, students, parents, and corporate stakeholders. •Confident public speaking and presentation skills for school talks, information sessions, and pitches. •Strong written communication skills for proposal writing and client documentation. •Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. •Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and initiatives simultaneously. •Event planning and coordination experience (camps, campus visits, open days). •Working knowledge of CRM tools is desirable although training will be provided on the job relating to the same. Personal Attributes •Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with a field-based, relationship-heavy role. •Proactive networker who enjoys building and sustaining external relationships. •Resilient and adaptable, able to manage a varied workload across recruitment, partnerships, and events independently. •Professional, articulate, and confident representing the institution externally. Other Requirements •Valid UAE driving license, with willingness to travel regularly between schools, universities, and corporate sites is essential as this is a field-based role. •Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends for events, fairs, and school sessions with appropriate lieu days allotted. Compensation Competitive salary plus a highly attractive, performance-based incentive structure tied to recruitment and business development targets.
