Student Services CoordinatorElaine Sterling Institute | Atlanta, GASalary: $45,000 - $55,000Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with one late evening and one Saturday required on a rotating basis.Reports To: Director of Student DevelopmentMake a Difference in Students' LivesElaine Sterling Institute is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-focused Student Services Coordinator to support our students from enrollment through graduation and beyond. This highly visible role serves as a trusted resource for students while helping drive retention, engagement, academic success, and career readiness.If you're passionate about student development, enjoy building meaningful relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced educational environment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs the Student Services Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the success of our students by:Providing individualized support and guidance to students experiencing academic, attendance, personal, or social challengesAssisting students with academic planning, program requirements, and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)Monitoring attendance, Leave of Absence (LOA) requests, re-enrollments, withdrawals, and student recordsIdentifying at-risk students and implementing retention strategies and intervention plansCoordinating student activities, events, workshops, and engagement initiativesMaintaining compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations, including FERPA requirementsManaging student communications and serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrationSupporting graduation readiness, licensure preparation, and student success initiativesMaintaining accurate student documentation and records within student information systemsAssisting with compliance reporting, data analysis, and student services programsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience in Student Services, Student Affairs, Student Success, Academic Advising, Higher Education Administration, or a related fieldExperience supporting students in a postsecondary, vocational, career school, college, or university settingStrong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with student retention, attendance management, SAP, or academic advisingExperience working within vocational, technical, career, or postsecondary education environmentsKnowledge of FERPA and educational compliance requirementsExperience coordinating student programs, activities, or eventsWhat Makes You SuccessfulEmpathetic and student-focusedApproachable and relationship-drivenOrganized and detail-orientedAdaptable and resourcefulAble to confidently navigate challenging student situations while providing support and accountabilityWhy Elaine Sterling Institute?For more than two decades, Elaine Sterling Institute has been committed to transforming lives through education and professional training.
