Studio Director

I’m working with a highly regarded design studio in Dubai that is continuing to grow on the back of a strong pipeline of high-end residential work.The studio has developed a very distinctive design identity and is winning projects that sit at the top end of the market.As the business grows, they are now looking to add a Studio Director who can sit alongside the existing discipline leads as part of the management team and take greater ownership of how the studio operates day to day.This is not purely an administrative operations role. They are looking for someone from an Interior Design or Architecture background who understands design delivery, project pressures, client expectations and how creative teams need to be structured and supported.The role will include:Overseeing day-to-day studio operations and workflowSupporting project planning, resourcing and team allocationWorking closely with the discipline leads across live projectsMonitoring delivery, priorities and internal coordinationSupporting team performance and helping resolve operational issuesMaintaining strong communication across clients, consultants and internal teamsImproving internal processes as the studio continues to growHelping create the structure needed to support future expansionThe ideal person will be an experienced Interior Designer or Architect who has naturally taken on more responsibility around people, projects and studio operations and now wants to move into a broader management role.You’ll need to be commercially aware, highly organised and confident operating at senior level, while still understanding the creative and technical realities of running a design studio.A significant salary is on offer for the right person.
