The manager must be highly visible on the studio floor, actively engaged with customers and staff, and focused on growing the business.IDEAL CANDIDATE3–5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a management roleBackground in retail, hospitality, events, entertainment, experiential, lifestyle, or art studio environmentsBachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, Art, Education, or related fieldProven leadership and team-management skillsStrong sales and business-development mindsetExcellent interpersonal and customer-service skillsProfessional, energetic, outgoing, organized, and dependableEntrepreneurial attitude and ownership mentalityComfortable working with families, children, adults, corporate clients, schools, and community groupsExperience with social media, local marketing, events, and community outreach preferredInterest in art, ceramics, crafts, or creative experiences is a plus; training providedProficient with POS systems, scheduling, inventory, cash controls, and basic financial reportingKEY RESPONSIBILITIESAchieve monthly and annual sales goalsGrow walk-in traffic, repeat visits, parties, private events, corporate events, and group bookingsDeliver an exceptional customer experienceRecruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate studio associatesOversee daily operations: opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, supplies, and vendor managementControl labor and operating costsExecute social media, promotions, events, and local marketing initiativesBuild relationships with schools, businesses, organizations, and community partnersMaintain brand standards for safety, cleanliness, and studio operationsProvide regular sales, operational, and performance reportingPERFORMANCE MEASURESSuccess will be measured by:Revenue growth and sales target achievementParty, event, and group-booking revenueCustomer satisfaction, reviews, and repeat businessTeam performance and employee retentionLabor, inventory, and cost controlLocal marketing and community/business developmentOverall quality and consistency of studio operationsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSBase salary: $40,000–$50,000 annuallyPerformance bonus based on sales and performance targetsBenefits as required by applicable federal and state lawEmployer health insurance contribution: 50% in Years 1–2, 75% beginning in Year 3Employee discounts, training, and professional-growth opportunities90-DAY INTRODUCTORY PERIODThe first 90 days are an evaluation period to assess leadership, reliability, customer service, sales initiative, operations, team management, and overall fit.
