We want counsellors who can understand a student’s academic profile, interests, career goals, finances and family situation, and then provide practical, realistic and unbiased guidance.What You Will DoConduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parentsAssess students’ academic profiles, interests, goals and budgetsRecommend suitable countries, universities, courses and specialisationsCreate ambitious, target and safe university shortlistsExplain admission requirements, tuition fees, living costs and career opportunitiesGuide students on scholarships, financial aid and education-loan optionsDevelop clear application strategies and timelinesSupport students with SOPs, essays, CVs and Letters of RecommendationReview application documents for accuracy and qualityGuide students through university applications and offer decisionsPrepare students for admission and visa interviewsSupport visa documentation and pre-departure planningPrepare clear written action plans after counselling sessionsFollow up with students and track their application progressYou May Be a Good Fit If You HaveExperience in study-abroad counselling, overseas education, admissions or student mentoringStrong communication skills in English and HindiExperience speaking with both students and parentsKnowledge of international universities, courses and admission processesFamiliarity with destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany and other European countriesThe ability to provide direct, practical and unbiased adviceStrong research, documentation and organisational skillsExperience managing multiple students, applications and deadlinesNo pressure or preference to promote particular universities, countries or coursesExperience with undergraduate and postgraduate applications is a major advantageKnowledge of scholarships, visa processes and application documentation is preferredThis is a remote opportunity with flexible working hours.
