Subcontracting EngineerLocation-Yamunanagar, HaryanaExperience5–12 YearsQualificationDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate and develop suitable subcontractors/vendors for engineering and fabrication requirements.Coordinate with subcontractors for job allocation, drawings, specifications, BOM and technical requirements.Plan and monitor subcontracting activities to ensure on-time delivery.Coordinate with vendors regarding raw material availability, production status and dispatch schedules.Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design, Planning, Purchase and Stores departments.Ensure subcontracted components are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.Follow up with Quality/Inspection teams for inspection and clearance of subcontracted components.Handle rejection, rework and quality-related issues with subcontractors and ensure corrective actions.Support cost negotiation and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
