Subcontracting Senior Buyer

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Subcontracting Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain Management team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will manage in full autonomy the issuance of construction subcontracts and service orders for major EPC projects, optimizing costs and schedules while adhering to high quality and corporate standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTendering & RfQ Management: Define bidder lists, issue Requests for Quotation (RfQ), and manage the full follow-up with potential subcontractors during tender phases.Commercial Alignment & Evaluation: Ensure technical/commercial alignment of subcontractor proposals with Construction and Engineering teams, preparing accurate economic tabulations.Negotiation & Subcontract Issuance: Conduct commercial negotiations on terms and conditions with international construction subcontractors, issuing final subcontracts in full compliance with company policies.Vendor Management & Scouting: Lead subcontractor qualification processes, conduct market scouting for new subcontractors, and negotiate commodity frame agreements.Site & Project Support: Support site teams with subcontracts administration, post-award management, and coaching junior procurement staff.Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Proven track record as a Senior Buyer / Subcontract Specialist within the EPC / Oil & Gas / Construction sector.Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in construction subcontracting, commercial terms & conditions negotiation, and economic tabulation analysis.Competencies: Analytical skills, result-oriented mindset, strong negotiation capability, and collaborative work style.Languages: Full professional fluency in English.Location & Availability: Currently residing in the UAE with a notice period of 30 days or less (ready for mid-October onboarding).
