Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Botanic Gardens to join our team in Saudi Arabia on a full-time basis.The selected candidate will provide specialized expertise and technical guidance related to botanic gardens, plant collections, horticulture, biodiversity, conservation, and educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise related to botanic gardens, horticulture, plant sciences, and biodiversity.
- Review and validate technical and educational content for accuracy.
- Support the development of scientifically accurate and engaging content related to plants, ecosystems, and botanical environments.
- Advise the project team on plant collections, interpretation, conservation, and visitor education.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other specialists to ensure botanical information is represented accurately.
- Review project materials and provide technical recommendations based on international best practices.
Qualifications
- Degree in Botany, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Biology, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong professional knowledge of botanic gardens, plant collections, horticulture, biodiversity, or conservation.
- Relevant professional experience in botanical gardens, research institutions, universities, environmental organizations, or similar projects.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
