The company promotes a respectful, inclusive work environment and supports professional growth within the construction industry.Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson, AZ, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on assigned construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications. The Superintendent monitors site progress, conducts regular inspections, resolves issues, and maintains accurate documentation such as daily reports and logs. This role also enforces safety standards, leads site meetings, and collaborates with project managers to manage timelines, quality control, and resource allocation. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site point of contact, representing GAM3 Construction LLC in a professional manner with clients, inspectors, and partners.QualificationsDemonstrated experience supervising construction sites, coordinating trades, and managing day-to-day field activities.Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and reading/interpreting plans and specifications.Proficiency in documenting project progress, maintaining logs, and using basic construction management or scheduling software.Effective communication and leadership skills, including the ability to direct crews, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively with project stakeholders.Proven commitment to job-site safety, including enforcing safety policies and participating in or leading safety meetings.Ability to plan ahead, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining project timelines.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in construction management is beneficial.Prior experience as a Superintendent, Foreperson, or similar construction leadership role preferred, especially on commercial or residential projects.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from Tucson, AZ job sites.May be required to travel to out of town projects.
