This role represents the final point of contact in the customer journey and plays a key part in upholding Golden Cart’s premium service standards, efficiency, and brand image.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceGreet customers warmly and professionally at all timesEnsure polite, respectful, and efficient service at the checkout counterAssist customers with basic inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff memberMaintain a calm and positive attitude during peak hoursCash Handling & TransactionsAccurately scan and process items using the POS systemHandle cash, card, and digital payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)Issue receipts and process refunds or exchanges according to company policyEnsure correct pricing, promotions, and discounts are appliedTalabat & Online Order HandlingReceive, process, and prepare Talabat and Now Now orders accurately and on timeCoordinate with in-store staff to ensure correct picking and packing of itemsVerify order details before handover to delivery ridersMaintain clear communication to avoid delays, missing items, or errorsAccuracy & ComplianceBalance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shiftReport discrepancies immediately to the supervisorFollow all company procedures for cash handling and loss preventionStore SupportKeep the checkout and online order area clean, organized, and presentableAssist with packing groceries carefully and efficientlySupport basic store tasks when requiredRequirements & QualificationsPrevious cashier or retail experience preferred (supermarket experience is a plus)Fluent English required; Arabic fluency is a strong advantageComfortable using POS systems and delivery platforms (Talabat experience is a plus)Strong attention to detail and accuracyProfessional appearance and customer-focused attitudeAbility to stand for long hours and work flexible shiftsKey SkillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask between in-store and online ordersTrustworthy and responsible with cashWorks well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and coordination skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salarySupportive, professional work environmentTraining on systems, Talabat handling, and service standardsGrowth opportunities within Golden CartHow To ApplyApply via LinkedIn Easy Apply.
