Supervising Engineer

Job Title: Supervising EngineerJob SummaryThe Supervising Engineer is responsible for overseeing engineering and construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.Key Responsibilities* Supervise daily engineering and construction activities on-site.* Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.* Monitor contractors’ performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.* Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.* Review and approve work progress, inspections, and technical documentation.* Identify and resolve technical issues and recommend corrective actions.* Monitor project schedules and report progress, delays, and risks.* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.* Conduct site inspections and quality audits.* Prepare progress reports and maintain project records.* Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.* Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and site supervision experience.* Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction standards, and industry regulations.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project) is preferred.Required Skills* Leadership and team management.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.* Project planning and coordination.* Time management and organizational skills.* Technical reporting and documentation.* Quality assurance and safety compliance.* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
