Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Overview:To oversees all financial activities of the organization, ensuring efficient cash flow management, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulations. The position plays a pivotal role in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.Responsibilities and Duties•Preparing the financial consolidation for the Group (annual statutory reporting, quarterly reviews and monthly reporting) statements including intercompany eliminations, FX translation, Group reporting deliverables etc. within strict deadlines.•Ensuring timely closure of Trial balances in co-ordination with Accountant.•1st level detailed review of Trial balance before initiating the preparation of consolidated reporting packs and other deliverables.•Identifying any accounting issues and coordinating with subsidiaries to resolve them.•Liaising with parent entities for any clarification regarding the financial reporting and other Group deliverables.•Consolidating financial data to enable variance analysis, trend analysis and examination of various key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the Group’s financial performance and objectives.•Handling internal and external auditors and making sure to resolve all their queries on time.•Assisting in detailed analysis of cash flow statements, including cash inflows and outflows from operating, investing, and financing activities, to assess the company's liquidity and cash flow trend.•Cash Management:-Supervise cash flow by predicting cash requirements and optimizing cash utilization.-Monitor banking transactions to maintain appropriate liquidity levels.-Assess investment opportunities for maximizing returns.-Prepare and analyze Treasury and other related deliverables for Group reporting.-The responsibilities do not represent an exhaustive list of the job duties.QualificationsEducation: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -Preferred certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Experience:-5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in the UAE.Specific Skills -Proficiency in advance excel, financial modelling, Power BI, accounting software, SAP. -Strong grasp of accounting principles and regulations. -Financial Reporting: Ability to produce accurate financial reports. -Account Reconciliation: Skill in reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies. -Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to provide insights. -Budgeting and Forecasting: Capability to assist with financial planning. -Audit Compliance: Knowledge of regulations to ensure audit compliance. Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant): Preferred certification indicating accounting expertise.
