Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionAs a Supplier Management Assistant, you will support the day-to-day management and coordination of supplier relationships, information, documentation, and operational activities. You will work closely with procurement, purchasing, finance, logistics, warehouse, and other internal teams to maintain accurate supplier records and support effective supplier performance and business operations.Key responsibilities include:Assist with daily supplier management and coordination activities.Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier profiles, contact details, product information, pricing, and related records.Support supplier onboarding, registration, documentation, and account maintenance processes.Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, product availability, pricing, specifications, order status, delivery schedules, and required documents.Monitor supplier orders, deliveries, commitments, and outstanding actions and ensure timely follow-up.Assist with tracking supplier performance, service levels, delivery accuracy, product availability, and other relevant indicators.Maintain supplier contracts, certificates, compliance documents, quotations, invoices, and related records in an organized manner.Verify supplier information and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and validity.Coordinate with procurement, purchasing, finance, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and operations teams to resolve supplier-related matters.Assist with identifying and following up on delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns, pricing discrepancies, and other supplier issues.Support supplier reviews, performance reporting, and routine supplier communication.Prepare supplier reports, performance summaries, order updates, and other management information.Assist with supplier data maintenance and ensure relevant systems and databases remain accurate and current.Support improvements to supplier management processes, data accuracy, documentation, and operational efficiency.Ensure supplier-related activities follow company policies, procedures, approval requirements, and compliance standards.Perform other administrative, analytical, and operational duties related to supplier management as required.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.Good understanding of supplier management, procurement, purchasing, and supply chain processes.Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good supplier coordination, relationship management, and follow-up skills.Ability to maintain accurate supplier records and manage commercial documentation professionally.Ability to manage multiple suppliers, tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.Strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with ERP, procurement, supplier management, or contract management systems is an advantage.Ability to identify discrepancies, operational risks, and supplier-related issues.Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work.Good understanding of confidentiality, compliance, and data accuracy requirements.Flexible and adaptable to changing supplier and business requirements.Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and supplier management processes.
