They are seeking a Supply & Demand Planning Manager with exposure to the manufacturing sector, to drive the local S&OP process for the business. The Role Reporting to the Senior leadership team, the Demand & Supply Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end planning process across the business, ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production and supply plans. They are seeking a hands on leader.Lead the Supply and Demand Planning process, taking accountability for the local S&OP cycle and running the monthly meetings.Lead the production planning process for the site in Sydney, developing the production plan and managing the capacity planning across the site. Use the Demand forecast to translate this into an actionable production plan.Work with the wider business to monitor forecast accuracy and planning KPIs, ensuring that expectations are achieved.Manage all Supply Planning activities, working with suppliers to manage material availability and coordinating material requirements based on production plans.Responsible for planning and replenishment of critical raw materials, managing lead times and ensuring raw materials are received on time. You will raise PO’s with suppliers, and monitor inventory levels on site.Work with the warehouse team to manage both raw material and finished good inventory on site, assisting with cycle counts and overseeing inventory levels.Leverage Excel, Power BI and internal ERP systems to work with data to turn it into actionable objectives to help drive business performance across the planning team. Your Background To be successful in this role, you will bring:Solid experience within a manufacturing based environment across FMCG, Retail or similarly aligned industry. Must have managed Supply Planning, Production Planning, Demand Planning or S&OP.Proven ability of working at pace and taking autonomy for decisions, whilst having the skills to influence stakeholders.Experience of establishing an S&OP process across a business previously.Hands on leader, who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Must have the curiosity to solve problems and lead on CI projects, whilst establishing process for the business.Analytical mindset, with the ability to articulate strategy based on the findings from the data.Strong user of Excel, Power BI and exposure to ERP. This role is located in Sydney, and is based on site. The business is looking to pay $140k - $150K + Super + Bonus.
