We are hiring a Supply Chain & Inventory Control Manager to own the full supply chain function: procurement, international logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control across all branches, and the daily reconciliation between our POS system and our accounting and inventory systems. The role reports to the Management, leads a team of coordinators, drivers and store keepers, and is the single point of accountability for stock accuracy across the company.Key responsibilitiesInventory control and stock accuracy Own the stocktaking calendar for all branches, kiosks and the warehouse; run and review physical counts, investigate variances, and close adjustments in the POS system only after documented approval. Issue shortage and violation reports per branch, follow them to resolution with Retail and HR, and maintain the near-expiry report and transfer or promotion plans for slow and expiring stock. Reconcile sales invoices and purchases between the POS system and the accounting and inventory systems and clear discrepancies in weighed items, bundles, promotions and credit notes. Procurement, suppliers and approvals Review and approve purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier bills and expense reports in the expense and e-signature systems within the Management approval framework; maintain the pending payments report with Finance. Manage local and international suppliers (USA, China, Europe, GCC): orders, quotations, credit notes, warranty and damage claims, and payment follow-up. Logistics and warehouse Oversee international shipments end to end: forwarder quotations, insurance, documentation, customs clearance and delivery to the warehouse. Run the warehouse: receiving, storage, repacking and refilling, daily delivery plan and driver routes to 30+ locations, cold-chain items, and warehouse relocations or expansions. Team leadership and reporting Lead and schedule the supply chain team (coordinators, store keepers, drivers); review daily timesheets and hold the weekly supply chain meeting with documented action points. Deliver weekly and monthly reports to the Management: stock position and variances, near-expiry, open purchase orders, international orders, pending payments and cost analysis per brand. Write and maintain SOPs for every recurring process (stocktake, PO approval, shipment, near-expiry, POS to accounting matching) and train the team on them. Coordinate with IT on the operational tools used by the team (POS back office, inventory, expense, internal reorder and PO tracking applications). Requirements Mandatory: a valid UAE or GCC driving licence; the role involves daily visits to branches and the warehouse. Mandatory: proven experience managing a team (coordinators, store keepers, drivers): hiring, scheduling, daily follow-up and performance discussions. 4 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory control or warehouse management in multi-branch retail, FMCG or food distribution. Proven hands-on experience running stocktakes across multiple locations and closing variances in a POS or ERP system; experience with a retail POS back office is a strong advantage. Working knowledge of a cloud accounting and inventory suite and of matching sales and purchase records between systems. Experience with UAE import logistics: forwarders, insurance, customs documentation and clearance. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, variance analysis) and the ability to build clear management reports. Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage. Organised, firm and accountable: able to run 20+ open items a day, document decisions, and say no to unapproved adjustments. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Accounting. Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi; candidates already in the UAE are preferred. Benefits Salary: AED 5,000 to 7,000 per month, based on experience, with review after probation. Employment visa, medical insurance and annual leave as per UAE Labour Law. Full-time position based at the company head office and warehouse in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Management. Ownership of the supply chain function for a multi-brand group across food, beauty and fashion.
