Supply Chain & Logistics ExecutiveHarmonic is delighted to be partnering with a premium food and beverage brand with a strong reputation for quality and an established presence across several sales channels, both in the UK and internationally. The business has built a loyal customer base and continues to see growing demand across its markets.Sourcing is global and supply cycles are not always straightforward, so keeping stock moving to the right place at the right time sits at the heart of how the business performs. The team is lean, collaborative and hands-on, and people are given real ownership early.The RoleSitting within the operations team and reporting into the Operations Lead, this role is focused on one thing above all: keeping stock flowing. You will run the day-to-day of export logistics, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers to get product to customers and markets accurately and on time. Alongside this, you will support procurement and provide light support on production scheduling and demand planning.This is a hands-on, detail-heavy role for someone two to three years into their operations career who is organised, meticulous and a strong communicator. Deep specialist knowledge is not required; being quick to learn and comfortable with admin-heavy work matters far more. The operations function is evolving, so there is also scope to help shape better processes and bring a practical, AI-native approach to how the work gets done as the business scales.Key DutiesCoordinate export shipments from booking through to delivery, keeping stock moving to customers and markets on timeManage day-to-day relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokersPrepare and manage export documentation, including customs certificates, making sure paperwork is accurate and compliantSupport the procurement process, working with suppliers to keep orders on trackProvide support on production scheduling and demand planning, keeping stock and planning information up to dateAct as a clear point of contact for internal teams on shipments, stock availability and delivery timingsKeep on top of the admin side of operations, spotting issues early and flagging risks before they affect supplyLook for ways to simplify and automate manual tasks, including through the use of AI toolsWhat the Client Would Like to See (Essential)Two to three years' experience in an operations, logistics, shipping or supply chain roleExposure to export logistics and working with freight forwarders or customs brokersHighly organised and meticulous, with strong attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external partnersComfortable with admin-heavy work and able to get a lot doneQuick to learn, proactive and energeticWhat We Would Like to See (Bonus)An AI-native mindset and confidence using AI tools to work more efficientlySome experience of procurement, production scheduling or demand planningBackground in food and beverage, FMCG or consumer goodsExperience in an SME or growing businessPackageSalary: £35,000 Location: London, hybrid working (3 days in office)If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to dan@harmonicfinance.comAt Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
