This is a remote position.Supply Chain and Engineering Lead, Latin America Oilfield Services Pelican Heritage Partners | Gulf Coast (Louisiana or Houston or Venezuela preferred) or remote, with travel to Venezuela About Pelican Heritage Partners Pelican Heritage Partners is a Louisiana advisory and commercial development firm working with Gulf South maritime, energy, and industrial services businesses. Together with an established Louisiana oilfield equipment manufacturer, we are building a supply and services platform to bring proven U.S. products and service lines into Venezuela's onshore oil fields as the market reopens. The Role We're looking for an engineer or supply chain professional who knows oilfield production equipment and how it gets sourced, shipped, and supported in difficult international markets. You'll help us decide which product categories to lead with, identify and vet U.S. manufacturers, and design the logistics and service model to support customers in country. Early on this role is hands-on and investigative: talking to operators, manufacturers, and field contacts, and turning what you learn into clear recommendations. As the business grows, it becomes the operating lead for supply chain and technical support. What You'll Work On You'll evaluate demand and technical requirements across production and well intervention, coil tubing, production chemicals, well integrity, and surface equipment. You'll identify manufacturers in Louisiana and Texas, assess their products and capacity, and support negotiation of exclusive distribution and licensing arrangements. You'll build the logistics plan for moving equipment and consumables into Venezuela, including export compliance, shipping, customs, and in-country support. You'll also work with our local partners on site assessments and customer requirements. RequirementsWhat We're Looking For Five or more years in oilfield services, equipment manufacturing, or energy supply chain, with a background in production or completions equipment. International experience, ideally in Latin America, is strongly preferred. Spanish fluency is a significant plus. You should be comfortable in an early-stage environment where you're building the playbook, not following one. An engineering degree is preferred but not required for candidates with strong field and sourcing experience. To apply, submit your resume and a short note on the international oilfield work you're most proud of. BenefitsArrangement Full-time or contract considered. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
