Supply Chain and Operations Manager

About the RoleAs our first Operations hire, you will build the operational backbone of Please Undo from the ground up. You will own operations end-to-end, from demand planning, procurement and production to inventory, warehousing, logistics and channel replenishment across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems from scratch, solving operational problems and taking ownership across the entire supply chain.What You’ll OwnBuild the operations function: Establish scalable supply chain processes, planning systems and SOPs; build and run the S&OP process; establish inbound quality checks; build the Operations team and external partner ecosystem as we scale.Demand planning & inventory: Forecast demand across SKUs and channels, translate forecasts into production plans, and maintain optimal inventory across factories, warehouses and marketplaces while preventing stockouts, excess inventory and ageing.Manufacturing, packaging & procurement: Coordinate with contract manufacturers on production schedules, raw material and packaging availability, manufacturing timelines and dispatches. Own procurement of primary and secondary packaging, manage POs and supplier relationships, negotiate commercials and drive continuous cost reduction.Warehousing, fulfilment & logistics: Manage 3PL relationships, inbound and outbound inventory, order accuracy and fulfilment SLAs. Coordinate transportation from manufacturers to warehouses, manage courier and freight partners, and continuously improve logistics costs, delivery timelines and operational efficiency.Marketplace & quick commerce operations: Ensure timely replenishment and stock availability across Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and other channels. Resolve operational issues with platform partners and track fill rates and replenishment performance.Returns, quality & customer issues: Manage returns, damages, reverse logistics, replacements and refunds. Investigate recurring customer complaints and work with Product and Quality teams to identify and resolve root causes.Systems & reporting: Maintain accurate ERP, OMS and inventory data; track inventory, ageing, fill rate, OTIF and fulfilment performance; and use operational KPIs to identify and drive improvements.Must Have4 to 8 years of operations or supply chain experience within a D2C consumer brand with omnichannel presence across D2C, marketplaces and quick commerce.Hands-on experience with contract manufacturers, 3PL warehouses, marketplace and quick commerce operations.Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain, logistics and fulfilment.Experience managing vendors, purchase orders and commercial negotiations.Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience working with ERP, OMS or WMS platforms.Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and building processes from scratch.LocationBengaluru | Work from Office
