Supply Chain Assistant

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to support daily supply chain, logistics, inventory, and procurement activities. The role involves coordinating information and operational tasks across suppliers, procurement, warehouses, logistics providers, and internal teams to help ensure the timely and efficient flow of products and materials. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, tracking purchase orders and shipments, updating supply chain systems, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, coordinating delivery schedules, and supporting demand and replenishment planning. You will assist with identifying supply delays, inventory discrepancies, delivery issues, and other operational risks, while communicating relevant updates to stakeholders and supporting timely resolution. The role also involves maintaining supplier and product data, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring supply chain activities follow established procedures. Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential.QualificationsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Basic understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics processes.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to review inventory, order, shipment, and supply data.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for reporting and data management.Strong attention to detail when maintaining purchase orders, inventory records, shipment information, and supplier data.Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain systems is preferred.Understanding of replenishment, lead times, stock availability, order tracking, and delivery coordination is an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain issues.Ability to maintain accurate records, follow established procedures, and handle operational information responsibly.Reliable, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
