We commit to developing our people into future business leaders in Asia.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Manager to lead project engagements and contribute to the continued growth of our Hong Kong office. Managers at YCP take ownership of project delivery end-to-end – structuring the work, leading client relationships, coaching teams, and ensuring quality outcomes. You will operate as a trusted thought partner to senior clients and a key development resource for your team.Immediate project pipeline includes leading the transformation of a global freight forwarder’s air freight, sea freight, and warehousing operations – designing standardised, automated ways of working and overseeing their rollout across global offices using platforms such as CargoWise and WMS solutions. Managers are expected to shape the approach, manage client stakeholders, and ensure measurable impact, rather than hold deep platform expertise.Role & ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership

• Own the end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements across industries including logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, supply chain, and beyond – from scoping and workplan design through to final recommendations and implementation.
• Lead the design of operational transformation programmes, including standardisation of freight and warehouse workflows, automation roadmaps, and platform-enabled process improvements (e.g. CargoWise, WMS).
• Structure complex problems into clear hypotheses and workstreams, ensuring analytical rigour and actionable outputs at each stage.
• Manage project economics, timelines, and risks, escalating appropriately and adapting plans when required.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables including operating model designs, SOP frameworks, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships with operational leaders, functional heads, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Lead client workshops, steering committee presentations, and working sessions, driving alignment and decision-making.
• Manage change management workstreams, including stakeholder engagement plans, training programmes, and adoption measurement for system and process rollouts.
• Identify and develop opportunities to expand engagements based on evolving client needs.Team Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Associates and Analysts, setting high standards for quality and professional growth.
• Structure team workplans, delegate effectively, and ensure timely, accurate delivery across all workstreams.
• Contribute to YCP’s people culture by participating in hiring, onboarding, and performance development.RequirementsExperience & Skills
• 6–9 years of experience in management consulting, operations consulting, or a combination of consulting and industry roles in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
• Demonstrated track record of leading consulting engagements end-to-end, including client management, team leadership, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
• Deep expertise in operational transformation, process redesign, and change management – ideally including cross-functional or multi-geography programmes.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, warehousing, or 3PL business models and operational processes is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with CargoWise, WMS platforms (e.g. Manhattan, HighJump, Körber), SAP TM, or similar TMS/WMS systems is advantageous; the ability to quickly understand and work around such platforms is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to produce board-level presentations and financial/operational models.Personal Attributes

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; MBA is an advantage.
