Supply Chain Director

Our client in Katy, TX is seeking a full-time, direct-hire Director of Supply Chain to join their team. Manufacturing industry experience and a Bachelor's degree is required!Job DescriptionDevelop and execute long-range supply chain and sourcing strategies.Lead material planning, procurement, scheduling, and inventory control.Identify and mitigate sourcing risks; stabilize and optimize the supplier base.Oversee forecasting, S&OP inputs, and long-range material planning.Establish and track KPIs for supplier quality, on-time delivery, and cost performance.Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and structured problem-solving.Coach, lead, and develop Supply Chain and Purchasing team members.Ensure ERP accuracy, adherence to policies, and compliance with AS9100D standards.Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering on new programs and improvement initiatives.Qualifications10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience, with experience leading a team of 10+ employees (Buyers, Inventory Specialists, etc.)Bachelor's degree requiredManufacturing experience required, with a preference in raw materials procurementKnowledgeable in all aspects of Supply Chain - Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory, Contracts, Supplier Negotiation and Evaluation, KPI's, Spend Analysis, Forecasting, Cost Savings, and moreAbility to work closely with Upper Management and Owners to create and implement strategic initiatives
