Supply Chain Director

Role DescriptionA Supply Chain Director leads supply chain strategy, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution activities while improving efficiency, cost control, and service performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures.Oversee procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.Monitor supply chain KPIs, costs, service levels, and operational performance.Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and relationships.Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, purchasing, and replenishment.Optimize transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations.Identify cost-saving and supply chain efficiency opportunities.Manage supply risks, disruptions, and contingency planning.Coordinate with finance, sales, operations, procurement, and other departments.Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, and contract compliance.Manage supply chain budgets, spending, forecasts, and cost controls.Utilize ERP, procurement, inventory, and supply chain management systems.Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, logistics, and regulatory requirements.Prepare supply chain reports, forecasts, and management recommendations.Lead, develop, and improve supply chain teams and processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.Extensive experience in supply chain management and senior leadership.Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.Strong negotiation, commercial, financial, and cost-control skills.Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, ERP, WMS, or supply chain systems.Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Good understanding of supply chain risk and business continuity.Knowledge of UAE/GCC customs, import/export, and logistics requirements is advantageous.Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Professional, accountable, proactive, and results-oriented.
