Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB PURPOSETo lead and own the end-to-end supply chain strategy for the detergent and chemicals manufacturing business — raw material sourcing, production planning, inventory, warehousing, and distribution — ensuring uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, and service-level excellence across all plants and markets, while aligning supply chain capability with the company's growth and Saudization objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Supply Chain LeadershipDevelop and own the end-to-end supply chain strategy (raw materials, packaging, production planning, warehousing, distribution) for the detergent manufacturing business.Translate business growth plans (new SKUs, capacity expansion, new markets) into supply chain capacity and network plans.Represent supply chain on the sector leadership team and advise the CEO/COO on supply risk, cost, and capacity trade-offs.Procurement & Raw Material SourcingOversee sourcing strategy for key raw materials (surfactants, builders, fragrances, packaging film/bottles) balancing cost, quality, and supply security.Lead supplier qualification, contracting, and performance management, including local and international vendors.Monitor global commodity/petrochemical price trends and build hedging or dual-sourcing strategies to mitigate volatility.Production Planning & InventoryOwn the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning demand forecasts with plant production schedules.Set inventory policy (raw material, WIP, finished goods) to optimize working capital while protecting service levels.Drive continuous improvement in OTIF (on-time-in-full) performance and reduction of stockouts/excess inventory.Warehousing, Distribution & LogisticsOversee warehouse network design, capacity planning, and 3PL/fleet management for inbound and outbound logistics.Optimize distribution cost-to-serve across regional and export channels in coordination with the Export Manager.Ensure compliance with HSE, GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and chemical handling/storage regulations.Cost, Systems & GovernanceLead supply chain cost optimization initiatives (freight, warehousing, inventory carrying cost, procurement savings) with measurable KPIs.Champion ERP/SCM system utilization and data-driven decision-making (S&OP dashboards, demand planning tools).Ensure supply chain policies and procedures meet corporate governance and audit requirements.People LeadershipBuild, coach, and develop the supply chain leadership team; support succession planning and Saudization targets.Set clear KPIs and performance expectations across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics functions.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (required).Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.Professional certification preferred: CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, or Six Sigma (Black Belt an advantage).EXPERIENCE12–15+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/director-level role.Prior experience within FMCG, detergent/home-and-personal-care, or chemicals manufacturing is strongly preferred.Demonstrated track record of leading end-to-end supply chain (procurement to distribution) in a multi-plant or multi-SKU manufacturing environment.Experience managing supply chain in the GCC/Saudi market, including familiarity with SASO/SFDA regulatory requirements, is highly desirable.
