Supply Chain Intern (Tamheer Program)

Supply Chain Intern responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, ensuring that goods and services are acquired efficiently and paid for accurately. This role bridges the gap between internal requirements (Purchase Requisitions) and external vendors, overseeing everything from order placement to the final 3-way match for financial settlement.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESOrder Generation: Generate Purchase Orders (POs) based on assigned Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and specific categories.Supplier Follow-up: Maintain continuous follow-up to receive supplier acknowledgments for new, cancelled, or modified Purchase Orders.Advance Payments: Prepare Advance Payment Release Forms and coordinate their submission to the Finance department after securing the necessary approvals.Warehouse Coordination: Receive and verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and Delivery Notes (DN) from the warehouse teams.Invoice Collection: Proactively collect and organize all financial invoices from suppliers.3-Way Matching: Execute the 3-way matching process (aligning PO / DN / Invoice) and obtain approval from the Regional Supply Chain Manager.Financial Liaison: Submit all required documentation to the Finance Department to record purchases and facilitate the payment process.Performs additional related duties as assigned.Minimum Education RequiredBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office Suite)Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
